LG Arena

LG announced that its hot touchsceen handset for which the company has already received 1 million preorders, LG Arena aka KM900, is launching in Europe! Although, we’ve no information on carrier partners at this stage, I’ve no doubts you’ll hear about Arena’s offering in your country soon, no matter where in Europe you live.

Let’s quickly recap the highlights:

  • There’s a 3-inch WVGA touchscreen on board
  • 8 megapixel camera
  • 8 GB of internal storage, plus microSD memory card slot
  • That super-cool 3D graphics-enabled S-Class UI
  • HSDPA 7.2 Mbps support, WiFi, FM transmitter, aGPS, Standard 3.5mm audio jack
  • DivX, Xvid support

Yap, I want one, too! :)

Hi, is this better than Pre?

I anyways am on Nokia N82 so this 8MP looks like a solid successor
to my trusty buddy. Any idea, when will this be available in India?
Also, since this is based on a new OS, what’s the news on the OS?
Is this open to 3rd party apps? My life depends a lot on 3rd party
    apps…
