Microsoft employees already playing with Windows Mobile 6.5

One of the perks of working for a big tech company like Microsoft is that you probably get first-crack at all upcoming hardware and software. And, with Windows Mobile 6.5 expected to go live later this year, full-time Microsoft employees get to play with beta versions of the upcoming Windows Mobile update.

The program is strictly beta, as we’d expect for a mobile operating system still getting fine-tuned and polished for mass consumption. But, an official beta-testing program and rumored manufacturer-release versions of WM6.5 floating around the web, Microsoft may be preparing to release Windows Mobile 6.5 sooner than later. Windows Mobile fans may not have to wait long for Microsoft to launch the new WinMo 6.5 platform.
