The Samsung U350 passed the FCC back in January, but just took its sweet time getting to Verizon, where it was christened with the model name “Smooth”. Not much stranger than the BlackBerry “Curve”, I guess. It’s a bit of a yawner at first glance, but not bad at all for an entry level phone.

  • VGA Camera with Night Shot
  • Speakerphone
  • Bluetooth Enabled for Wireless Headset Support
  • VZ Navigator with turn–by–turn directions
  • Chaperone Parent/Child
  • Games, Ringtones, and Wallpaper
  • Mobile Email
  • Mobile Web

Available for a scant $30 on contract at Verizon, and don’t forget, VZ Navigator will run you an extra $9.99/month.
