It’s not much of a surprising that the CDMA BlackBerry Pearl Flip will be making its way to Verizon in the near future, considering little brother Alltel is said to be picking it up next month. We had seen the Pearl Flip in white before, and I think it remains a safe bet that this is the code-named Apex due to land on America’s biggest carrier. The GSM version didn’t do so well, but hey, maybe EVDO-flavoured 3G will spice things up enough for folks to bite – that is, of course, if they can keep the pricetag lower than T-Mobile was pushing at launch. Next week is WES, the big BlackBerry show of the year, and such an announcement would give something for Verizon to brag about when people aren’t busy oogling the BlackBerry 9630 Tour.
