
There’s something in the name “Tocco” British people seems to love, or at least Samsung thinks so. Their F480 and UltraTOUCH S8300 devices are selling as the Tocco and Tocco Ultra Edition in the UK, respectively. Next in line is their S5230 model, which was announced alongside the S5600 model. This one will be marketed as — guess — Tocco Lite.
The specs remain unchanged to the “original” Samsung S5230 and include such things as quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, 3-inch 240×400 pixels screen, accelerometer, Bluetooth 2.1, 3.2 megapixel camera, FM radio with RDS, 50 MB of internal memory that is further expandable with microSD memory cards. The Korean company’s TouchWIZ UI is running the show…
As for the release date, the Samsung Tocco Lite will start selling in May.
