Epicurious.com iPhone app

The famous food site, Epicurious.com, is out with its iPhone offering. The free application called “Epicurious’ Recipes & Shopping List: On the Go and In the Kitchen” is designed for real gourmet lovers, allowing them to access most of the content from Epicurious’ website while on the go.

Among the application’s features, we highlight:

  • Comprehensive database of over 25,000 “professionally tested” recipes.
  • Browse functionality – from Weeknight Dinners to Cool Cocktails. Select a recipe collection then swipe to flip from recipe to recipe, just like you would do with photos.
  • A robust search engine – allows filtering by what’s in your fridge, what’s healthy, what’s in season, and more. Alternatively, you can search for recipes by keyword.
  • Saving and sending functionality – add recipes to Favorites and/or e-mail them to yourself or to a friend.
  • Shopping List – makes sure you don’t forget a single ingredient for a dinner.
  • Cookbook mode – see the recipe in step-by-step view for easy-to-follow instructions

Sounds delicious? As I said, the Epicurious’ Recipes & Shopping List: On the Go and In the Kitchen is available free of charge through the AppStore. Here’s the link.
