A companion to the HTC Snap will be arriving on Sprint June 7th., according to tipsters. The HTC Willow, spotted first on a leaked roadmap a few months ago, has the same style of QWERTY keypad and dedicated Inner Circle key, but instead of the trackball, the Willow’s packing a more traditional four-way d-pad. Some of the specs get pictured in the gallery, for those interested…
- Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard
- 2 megapixel camera
- 528 MHz Qualcomm CPU
- 256 MB flash memory, 192 MB RAM
- 320 x 240 display
According to the roadmap, this won’t be an expensive phone, and the leak in question says it’ll be available for $149. As for the launch frame, it looks to be a busy time for Sprint – word has it the Palm Pre and Mifi hotspot will be announced around then, too. I’m not entirely convinced folks will pounce on this one on the same weekend the Pre launches, but I guess WinMo’s gotta put up some kind of fight, right?
