It’s video time! A 17 year old hacker simply known at ‘Haykuro’ has managed to get his hands on the new firmware for the HTC Hero… and he has been kind enough to put together 5-minute video walkthrough for us. It explains much of the enhancements and features in the new firmware, including updates to the calendar, music player and more. Twitter and Facebook have been nicely integrated. Looks to be some real sweet Android goodness if you ask me! Not sure if this is the rumored ‘Donut’ update we’re starting to hear about… But either way, it’s always good to see what’s up and coming on any OS.

The HTC Hero is rumored to be launching sometime around Q3 of 2009… No firm details on launch or pricing are available as of yet. Still early days.
