For the tech-savvy ladies out there eyeballing the Android-powered HTC Hero, but worried it’s a little too brickish for their fashion sensibilities, maybe a quick paint job will change your mind. Spotted on the Carphone Warehouse Coming Soon page, the pink Hero is scheduled for a July launch just like the others, though carrier availability for this shade is still something of a mytsery. We’ve seen the hero in a considerably more disgusting shade of pink before, but this subdued cream colour is plenty classy. The Hero’s hardware is highly respectable (528 Mhz processor, 5 megapixel camera, 3.2″ 320 x 480 screen), but the most impressive feature is what HTC has managed to do with Android and create a really slick user interface called Sense. If pink isn’t your bag, Orange UK has one in slate, T-Mobile will get the black version, and the classic white should be available across the board.
