iPhone SDK 3.1

After just two weeks, Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) has released a second beta of its iPhone SDK 3.1. We’ve no full change log what’s included in the update but we’ve heard two things:

  • Hacks that enabled tethering are out in this release;
  • There’s a new API for manipulating live video, which should reportedly enable augmented reality apps on the iPhone — iPhone 3GS most probably, since it’s the one with compass.

That’s about all we know at this stage. As soon as we hear something new, we’ll let you know. Stay tuned…
