Behold the HTC Hero! We’ve got the teflon-coated HTC Hero in the house, and we thought we’d share the love.
The HTC Hero’s custom-made HTC Sense UI did for Android what the HTC TouchFLO 3D UI did for Windows Mobile. In this case, Android needed way less work on its UI than the menu-heavy Windows Mobile platform. Still, the Hero’s Sense UI is a milestone in Android development. With multiple panes and widgets galore, the Sense UI isn’t just fun to use, it’s darn practical.
