Have an iPhone? Want to quit smoking? There’s an app for that.
The so called My Quitline is a free iPhone application (available in English and Spanish), which allows users to instant message and speak over the phone with trained quit-smoking counselors from the National Cancer Institute Quitline. Mentioned service (QuitLine) was recommended as an effective tool to quit smoking by the 2008 Public Health Service Guideline.
It’s certainly worth trying, especially when you consider the price of the app (free) and the rising cost of cigarettes, thought I’m not sure it can help everyone. Plus, it’s good to know that professionals will be there to assist you in stopping your bad habit. AppStore link is here. Good luck!
