Yahoo Calendar 2.0 Beta can sync with an iPhone!

Yahoo announced that their web-based calendar service can now sing along the iPhone. No dedicated application is needed, only the latest iPhone firmware (3.0). Moreover, you’ll be switched to the latest version of Yahoo Calendar (2.0 Beta), in order to proceed.

If that sounds good enough for you and you rely on Yahoo’s calendaring service, simply follow the steps bellow:

  1. Go to your iPhone settings application.
  2. Tap “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”.
  3. Tap “Add Account”.
  4. Tap “Other” and then tap “Add CalDAV Account”.
  5. For the “Server” you can simply type “yahoo”.
  6. Type in your Yahoo! username and password and click “Save”.
  7. Next time you open up your iPhone Calendar you will see a page allowing you to select which Yahoo! Calendar layer you want to view/edit.

It’s that easy! :)
