
We do understand Verizon Wireless will be announcing two Samsung phones — Intensity U450 and Rogue U960 — next week, and we were kinda surprised when we saw one of them (U450) appearing at the carrier’s website prior to the official launch. In the meantime, Verizon pulled that page, and now we all have to wait for September 8th, when they’ll tell us all the details. Actually, we already have all the information — including a leaked photo — so we won’t be surprised, at all.
Specs wise, the Intensity U450 is a low-end phone for texters sporting both a numeric keypad and full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 1.3-megapixel camera, 2.1-inch 176×220 pixels screen, 2.5mm headset jack, GPS, microSD slot. It can sing along Verizon’s VCast Music, VZ Navigator and Mobile Web; and the carrier will ask 30 bucks ($29.99) for the device, after a $50 rebate and with a contract…
