Android isn’t just a smartphone operating system. Google’s mobile OS is perfectly suited to running all kinds of web-connected devices, including mobile internet devices (MIDs). One of those devices made an appearance at IFA 2009. SMiT showed off their MID-560 Android Tablet on video and it’s looking like one mighty fine device. The SMiT Android Tablet sports a massive 4.8-inch capacitance touchscreen, 3G connectivity, WiFi, GPS and 8GB of on-board storage to meet your mobile web-surfing needs… and then some.
The SMiT Android tablet isn’t a smartphone, but with all kinds of wireless radios packed within, the MID-560 can probably do with VoIP calls in a pinch. Hit the video below to take a look at all the Androidy goods.
