Samsung-I5700-LatePictures of Samsung’s second Android phone have been floating around for the last couple of weeks, but attached to this latest batch of a white/green and black/orange models is the rumour that the Galaxy Lite I5700 won’t be making it to market until 2010, despite word that France would be getting it in October. That’s a bit of a shame, but the original I7500 should be given some time to breathe and handle the holidays this year. The primary differences between the two Galaxys is less on-board storage (4 GB), reduced screen resolution (WQVGA), and a bumped-down camera (3.2 megapixels). In any case, we’ll look forward to the Galaxy Lite in the new year, presumably at a lower price point than its daddy.

With this delay, I’m hoping that they’re doing it to add WiMax to the phone. Samsung is one of the companies who will be out with a WiMax phone first, hopefully this is it.
