Lebanese mobile operator Alfa (managed by Orascom Telecom) has reported that seven new base stations have been commissioned since late September. The new stations will improve network coverage and capacity… Something mobile users in the region will no doubt appreciate. *Cheers* to Alfa on this one. While I’m at it, I might as well give a *tip of the cap* as well. I only hope that the continued expansion and upgrades do not translate into increasing monthly rates for customers. Would love to hear the low-down from someone in the area if possible. What’s coverage like in Lebanon? Fairly blanketed border to border?
