Samsung’s Bada OS is has so far drawn a bit of criticism from some of the folks that keep tabs on stuff like that. We’re not sure what to make of Bada, but it looks like we won’t have to wait long. Samsung will apparently unveil the their “open mobile platform” to the world on December 8th in London.
The Korean mobile phone giant already makes Windows Mobile and Android smartphones, so it’s a little muddled as to how Bada fits into Samsung’s mobile strategy. If the company’s work with the TouchWIZ UI is any indication, Bada could have some sort of widget-based interface capable of working with a host of third-party widgets.
Check back on December 8th for more Bada details.
