Samsung has announced the M8400 on South Korean KT, featuring WiBro connectivity (their version of WiMAX). It’s conencted otherwise to the cellular WCDMA network, runs Windows Mobile, and packs a 5 megapixel camera alongside a 3.7″ WVGA touchscreen. New buyers will gain access to some 10,000 Wi-Fi hotspots for a year, and enjoy a dedicated app store launching sometime in January. Samsung played a big hand in getting a WiBro network set up in Korea, so it makes sense that they’re pushing it – if you’re one to them and enjoy the sweet, sweet mobile broadband, the M8400 will be available to the public in December.
