Nokia E71′s firmware reaches version 4.0

Nokia E71 updated

Popular Nokia E71 got a new firmware update. Version 400.21.013 includes tons of improvements, including:

  • Improved support for Nokia Email/Messaging
  • Pre-installed version of Ovi Contacts (available in the Installations folder) – though without support for Yahoo or Google Talk
  • Small updates for several apps: Internet radio, Quickoffice (5.3), Ovi Store, Email Setup Wizard, and Mail for Exchange.
  • New version of Ovi Store client – much faster.
  • Improved searching in Contacts
  • Improvements in WLAN functionality

In addition and as always, Nokia has fixed many of the known bugs and has made the device more stable. Full change log is available from here.
