QVC iPhone app

“Multimedia retailer” (whatever that means) QVC is “going iPhone.” The dedicated application is designed to enable iPhone and iPod Touch users to shop QVC anywhere. You can view the “Today’s Special Value” and “One Time Only Value” offers, as well as shop for QVC’s live show through the “Current Item On-Air” and “Items Recently On-Air” features. All this (content purchases) is conducted in a fast, seamless manner, using “Speed Buy” feature.

But QVC app’s feature set doesn’t stop there. The “sharing element” is built inside, hence you can share products via e-mail with friends, or remind yourself about some particular item to check it out again at some later date. Search capability is also on board, which is a must-have when you have about 95,000 items to choose from, like QVC does. Finally, each item has its own image (or more), along with general information, sizing and color swatches.

As for the pricing, the QVC App is available for free and you can grab it from here (iTunes link).

HSN has had an iPhone app since August and has many more features that Q’s, inlcuding Live TV, Program Guide and a game to win coupons. Sorry I have to say H has it over Q here.
