AT&T’s latest TV commercial continues to point out the weaknesses in Verizon’s 3G network. Namely, that Verizon’s flavor of 3G is slower and doesn’t support simultaneous voice and data communications. AT&T knows it can’t compete with 3G coverage maps, so it’s strategy is to focus everyone’s attention on their faster data speeds. The latest ad does just that, in a creepy, “headless Luke Wilson” sort of way. Check it out below.

I totally agree with the first post!!! Secondly, at the very end of this dumb ass commercial we find the words at the bottom that read, “3G not available in all areas”. Really??? No f’n s#!t Sherlock!! That’s all Vzw was saying. You don’t have coverage where they have coverage. It’s that simple but you decided to sue them and after a few more weeks of being humiliated, you decided that you should launch a ridiculous campaign to retort and then in turn drop your lawsuit.
You’re a bunch of whiny misguided f^%ks. People that know better know you’re full of s#!t. You use GPRS, EDGE and 3G in your coverage map….ALL together. How f’n dumb is that?? That’s not gonna help anybody when they want to know if they have coverage where they live.
And your whole iPhone doing a voice and data call at the same time.(Bulls#!t) I find two things wrong with that. “Which network lets you talk and surf at the same time?” Well, you can only do that on 3G and not EDGE or GPRS so why are we talking about that?? Again, back to the 3G map… and second, the iPhone can’t do what it states. The iPhone can’t do ANYTHING and something else at the same time. It can only do one or the other, that’s why you will notice that while that guy is searching on the web, there’s a button that says, “Press button to return to call”. That f^cker on the other end has been placed on hold while you look for your pizza parlor so you’re not talking and surfing at the same time. More lies. You truly ought to be a shame of yourselves. Spend that retainer money on a better infrastructure and fix your awful network. You’re an embarrassment!!

Your statement there doesn’t even make sense…of course that will help people if they just want to know if they have coverage where they live…
Also you can be on an active call and surf the web or email or whatever at the same time on an iPhone. I’ve done it all the time when I’m giving directions to people. Stop spreading lies. You’re an embarrassment!!

AT&T’s 3G network is a joke. I’ve said it before….my EDGE N86 [from the UK] is faster than my E71x [US 3G]. I took my E71x to Vancouver and couldnt believe how fast it worked. this whole time i thought it was the phone. turns out my network is just sh!te.
all these lame iPhones are slowing down the system, i want to switch to TMobile. Less users therefore more space and more speed.
