Paragon Software aka Epocware released a new version of its popular stand-by screen replacement app – Handy Shell. Like its predecessor, version 2.0 provides customization options, making your standby-screen more “active” and eventually useful. For instance, you can place widgets on it, such as weather, contacts and photos (new), which provides you with quick access to the media files stored on your smartphone.
Plus, for touch-enabled devices (S60 5th Edition), there’s the “3D Cube” spinning UI that gives quick access to four views, each one of them being placed on one side of the cube. Looks neat, gotta admit.
You can grab Handy Shell from Ovi Store or from Paragon’s website.
