Verizon Getting Palm Pre Plus?

Last week, we got wind that Verizon was conducting some webOS training, but no word on which handset (the Pixi or the Pre) they were using. As it turns out, neither. Internal inventory is showing a new model called the Palm Pre Plus, with absolutely zero indication of what that “Plus” exactly means (bigger camera? higher-res display?). While the next Palm device certainly captivates most of our attention, LG and Motorola also have some toys on the way to VZW. The Android-powered Motorola Calgary, which we have already seen with full branding, has also been spotted bearing the threatening moniker “Devour” and model number A555. The VS750 will apparently be LG’s first smartphone on Verizon, but little aside from a slim profile and Windows Mobile 6.5 is known about it. So, let’s let the speculation begin: what would y’all like to see on the next Palm Pre? Last rumours about a Verizon Palm Pre we heard was of a release in January, so keep your fingers crossed.

The “Plus” factor will be important for me in deciding upon my next phone. Droid? Incredible/Passion? Palm Plus? I’m leaning toward the Incredible, but I need some more leaked info. people! :)

@steven, maybe another way to put it is, what needs to change on the Pre before you’re willing to buy it?
