Zebra Technologies launches SDK for BlackBerrys to allow printing on the go

Zebra TechnologiesZebra Technologies has released an SDK for BlackBerry smartphones (ZebraLink Multiplatform SDK) to allow developers to implement print-to-Zebra-printer functionality in their apps. In case you haven’t heard about Zebra printers before, don’t worry – you’re not alone. They are used for on-demand printing of such things as field service records, tracking tags, point-of-sale receipts, healthcare specimen labels and so on.

More than 15 of Zebra’s current printer lines are supported by the SDK, which comes with all needed libraries, documentation and some source code examples. Additional details and download instructions could be accessed from this page.

I’m presuming support for other platforms is in works as we speak. Anyone said Android?
