Good folks of iFixit are doing their thing again with the hottest gadget these days – Nexus One. The whole teardown process is well documented on their website. You’ll have to register to get all the details, but the process is simple and shouldn’t take much of your time.
Anyway, we’re not mentioning the teardown only for its geek porn value. We’ve also wanted to share few additional details:
- The Nexus One supports faster 802.11n WiFi network, as found on Google’s but not on HTC’s website. Broadcom’s BCM4329 chip is used.
- FM transmitter is on board – no need for additional accessories to stream audio to your in-car stereo system.
And you can check the full teardown process from this page on iFixit’s website.
