Google.com, now location optimized for Android and the Apple iPhone

Efficiency is Google’s mantra and today they’re making proving that point by making Google easier to use on Android and the iPhone thanks to the location data inside your phone. In the example Natalia Marmasse and Scott Huffman use on the Official Google Mobile Blog, they demonstrate how typing “muse” brings up a different list of search suggestions depending on where you are. Useful for those of you with touch screen devices and have to hunt and peck to type in exactly what you want. It’s also a fine demonstration of how mobile websites are evolving and the fact that Google didn’t need to wait for anyone to approve this feature. Native development be damned!
