Velti mGage

Velti, mobile marketing company which we covered in the past, has launched Velti mGage, an online platform designed to be an intersection of brands, agencies, publishers and carriers. In that sense, it allows users to plan campaigns, select inventory, manage media buys, create mobile applications, websites and widgets, build mobile CRM campaigns, and track performance in real-time. Additionally, Velti mGage also comes with some solid content made to educate marketers and media planners on the effects of mobile marketing.

That tracking part is especially interesting as Velti mGage allows marketers to integrate mobile short codes into offline campaigns to include them in the tracking as well. Marketers can measure the effectiveness of each activity related to cost and, of course, return on investment.

Furthermore, Velti touts mGage as the point of access for more than 70 of its mobile advertising and marketing solutions, plus those of partner organizations — including Azuki, 4INFO, MobClix, Smaato, Distimo and Shazam Entertainment.

As for the third party partners such as content delivery networks, application providers, campaign management companies, mobile ad networks and analytic and billing providers – Velti hopes they’ll find mGage an environment where they will be able to manage campaigns and eventually create new business opportunities and technology innovations.
