Nexus One Desktop DockThe official Nexus One Desktop Dock is here, as announced by Google. As you can presume, it offers a dedicated place to charge your phone, “on your desk or nightstand.” But that’s not all – as soon as you slip your Nexus One into the dock, the Clock app opens with local time and weather, alarm settings, photo slideshows, and your music. Moreover, there’s a 3.5mm-to-RCA audio cable so you could listen to the music from your newly purchased smartphone on your stereo system – very cool!

The price of the dock — as said in the title — is $45 and you can buy it as a separate accessory or bundled with the Nexus One purchase. It’s available from Google’s Nexus One store, from the “Accessories” section at the bottom of the “Get your phone” page.
