Looks like the BlackBerry Curve 8530 is due to make an appearance on one of my local carriers, MTS. I have to admit, most of my colleagues in the area are on Rogers or TELUS, but a few here and there still rock the MTS contract, so if you want the latest iteration of the Curve, it’s coming… That is, if you believe the BlackBerry Software downloads site. If you take a peek, you can clearly see software updates available for the 8530 on MTS Mobility. Looks like RIM was ready to rock it before MTS could even get it on the shelves.
If you can’t wait, you can also pick up the older (but still solid) 8330, or step up to the Tour 9630. I’ve got a Tour in-hand right now, and it’s a solid performer.
