Verizon Wireless continues with its weekly Android app recommendations. This time they are all about staying organized with your DROID smartphone. Actually, that’s the official line, though most of the apps they suggest deal with their own services. Here’s the list:
- My Verizon – allows users to access their Verizon Wireless accounts to get balances, usage numbers and payment information and to update features, services and Family SharePlan lines.
- Visual Voice Mail – application for managing your visual voice mail, which BTW costs $2.99 per month.
- V CAST Media Manager – allows users to move and organize pictures, videos and music between their computers and phones. It’s not an app for your smartphone, but for your computer.
- Verizon FiOS Mobile – enables remote programming of your Verizon FiOS DVR, browsing and searching of TV program listings, and viewing of lists of recorded programs.
- FiOS Mobile Remote – for FiOS TV control from your phone.
- VZW Tones 4.0 – allows users to preview, purchase and manage all of their ringtones and ringback tones.
- ScanLife Barcode Reader – popular barcode scanning app.
And you can find all of the apps mentioned above (except V CAST Media Manager) in the Android Market.
