It’s not much of surprise with the new iTunes coming out a few days ago, but the iPad apps are now live in the App Store.

Without having an iPad to play around with, I can’t say that much about the quality of the apps but there already appears to be a solid selection. There are Twitter clients, The Wall Street Journal App, Brushes, and we may also be seeing a Hulu and Netflix app in the coming weeks. One major bummer is that there’s no native way to print off the iPad, so there are multiple third-party printing apps that range from $2 to $5.

We’re going to be blowing out the iPad coverage here over the next few days folks, and we’ll be live-blogging the launch this Saturday, as well.

I’m interested to see some of the games that will be available on the iPad. It would be a waste if they don’t try and take advantage of the screen. I think I’m going to hold off on getting one until the 3G version is out.
