It’s not a common practice to have a mobile brand extending to the non-mobile world. Quite the contrary, since mobile industry is still relatively young, we’ve seen the trend going the other way round. Take Sony Ericsson for instance – they are offering Walkman, Cyber-shot and even Bravia-branded (Japan only) phones.

Now to prove the opposite can be done too, Samsung is lending its Corby brand to other, non-mobile phone products. The Korean company announced the Pink, Black, White and Yellow colored notebook pouches and mouse.

Manufactured by Cheil Industries, which BTW is an affiliate of the Samsung Group, the polyurethane laptop pouch is available in two sizes – 10.1 and 11.6 inches and is definitely made for Samsung netbooks, N150 included, though other laptop computers can work just as well.

As for the Corby mouse, it is made by Belkin.

Finally, if you wonder, we’ve no idea where you can get Corby-branded non-mobile phone products. If it counts for something, Corby phones can be bought all around the world, so I assume the accessories will be widely available too.
