Motorola 'Twist' Spec Sheet?

Remember that odd, square-ish shaped slider we caught a glimpse of the other day? Rumor has it the new Android-powered device may be known as the ‘Twist’, and yes, it is very square. This, according to a spec sheet leaked via Android France.

The sheet sheds some light on what the new ‘Twist’ may offer… here’s the breakdown:

  • Size: 67 x 67 x 15.8mm
  • Networks: WCDMA/HSPA: 850/1900
  • GSM/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900
  • Display: 2.8″ QVGA, 320 x 240
  • Web: HTML, Flash with multi-touch
  • Camera: 3MP
  • Video: Capture/Playback/Streaming, H.263, H. 264, MPEG-4, WMV v9
  • Internal Memory: 512 MB flash, 256 MB RAM
  • Memory Card: microSD up to 32GB
  • WLAN: 802.11 b/g
  • Bluetooth: 2.1 with EDR
  • GPS/aGPS
  • Battery: 940mAh
  • Special Features: MOTOBLUR 1.5, 3.5mm audio jack, removable/customized rear covers
  • Chipset: OMAP 3410, 700MHz

So there you have it. The latest on the square-slider known as the Motorola ‘Twist’. What say you? Is this for real? If this spec sheet is to believed, we should see it this June. A square Android-powered slider from Motorola? Really? If nothing else I’m thinking the device would make a nice coaster.
