The Motorola Quench, known as the Cliq XT down in the U.S., is coming soon to Rogers and according to some leaked docs, will be available for $49.99 on a three-year contract, $424.99 with no strings attached. That’s a pretty good pricetag for a 3.1″ HVGA touchscreen, 5 megapixel camera, GPS, and Wi-Fi. We’ve been expecting the Quench on Rogers for awhile now, but still have few specifics as far as a release date go.
The Quench will be one of Roger’s Social View phones, which offer unlimited social networking with specific Android handsets on the right plan. The Acer Liquid E is also on the way to Rogers, to be available at slightly higher $79.99 price point. If you’re thinking of picking this up sometime late nexxt week, our review of the T-Mobile version was lukewarm; you’ve been warned.
