Update not on the sprint website.

    Actually, it's not available.

Please check the links on the site and you'll find they do not take you to a 2.1 update download file.

It's available. downloading it now from HTC (in which Sprint redirects you there). Prob though is that the download keeps crashing with read errors after a few mins.. guess a lot of downloads or their server is small (it's FTP).

also it doesn't work on 64 bit windows 7 for installation.. friend already did it..

The Download is taking forever. For a 118mb file, i've been downloading it for almost 2 hours now. On a 10mb down cable internet connection. The funny thing is, I just installed a hacked Samsung moment android 2.1 ROM on my phone yesterday. Then my friend that works at Sprint called me this morning to tell me that the official Sprint 2.1 update is out…

Had problems getting, then updating phone and had to take it to a sprint store anyway. The update process crashed my computer. I now have the 7th hero replacement and it is horrible, worse after the update. Sprint is being way too difficult to deal with and are now refusing to send me a replacement even though they send re-mans instead of new in the box! I have had it with sprint and am looking for class-action lawsuits to join and will be filing false advertising charges. I thought I would love this phone but it will not perform as advertised and barely functions on any given day. I was even told by sprint reps that they are aware their network is the major cause of frequent crashing etc. Bye-bye sprint!
