This is just a quick update for Berry users that may have missed it yesterday. You may have read that the Twitter for BlackBerry app was on the cusp of an update, and with it, a new batch of features was to arrive. Well, the update has officially dropped (version 1.0.0.40), and it is available now (for free) via App World.
Taking user feedback into consideration, many of the new features packed into the update are worth sharing. Among the most notable enhancements include:
- Quoting (editable retweets)
- View geotagged tweets
- Yfrog and TweetPhoto support (yay!)
- Navigation shortcuts
- Auto-complete for @ usernames
