The other day I filled you in on the White BlackBerry Bold 9700 making its way to India. Perhaps I was so excited about this that I forgot to mention one important thing… The plain ‘ol black and silver 9700 is on its way to India as well! Not sure why I didn’t mention this, as the white-clad 9700 is a variant we only see in markets with an existing 9700 on offer.
The Bold 9700 will be available via multiple carriers including Airtel, Aircel, BSNL, Idea Cellular, Loop Mobile, MTNL, Reliance, Tata and Vodafone. Key specs on the device include a 2.4″ display (480×360), 3.2 MP camera with 2x zoom and video, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G, 256 MB of on-board flash memory, 624 MHz processor and optical trackpad… plus much more.
At any rate, the good folks in India will have their choice of black or white Bold 9700 in the very near future. It’s good to have choice. Pricing should ring in around Rs 31,990 + VAT.
