Buy.com revamps its mobile website, makes it way much better

Buy.com launched a revamped mobile website which is way much better than what they previously had. Earlier Buy.com for mobiles only offered limited product search capabilities and pricing information. The new, updated site rocks full search and checkout capabilities and a faster, simpler UI — all of which should deliver an improved mobile shopping experience.

Moreover, in addition to Buy.com’s wide product selection (about 5.3 million products), mobile shoppers also can access the Marketplace, which currently features more than 11.5 million product listings from thousands of qualified third-party retailers.

Finally, the new Buy.com mobile website also features BuyTV product videos and Top 10 countdowns in popular categories.

For the record, ever since launching the new website in beta in May, Buy.com has seen traffic increase more than nine times previous levels!

Way to go Buy.com. As you know, Amazon is already on board to fully support mobile shoppers and I’m hoping other e-tailers will join the trend in no time.
