iAssociate 2 is the follow-up to the first iAssociate game, and it packs even more brain twisting madness than the first. So what’s the object of the game? It’s simple. You start with one word in the center of the screen. You’ll notice dotted lines branching out to other words, mysterious words that are yet-to-be filled in. All you’re given is the number of letters in the word. It’s up to you to guess and figure out what the other words are… while keeping in mind each word that is ‘linked’ to each other with a dotted line is associated in some way to the other. Case in point, the screenshot above. The word ‘Breakfast’ is the starter word. From there many words branch out, but you’ll notice that ‘Eggs’ and ‘Lunch’ are among them. Both are related to ‘Breakfast’ in some way. That’s the basic premise of the game!
As you successfully guess words, the new ‘found’ word will branch out new previously unseen options. As you make your way through the game you might catch yourself thinking ‘sheesh, when will this thing ever end!?’. Trust me, it CAN get frustrating, so make sure you are in a calm state of mind before you sit down for a session with this game… But some helpful features are packed in to help you on your way…
If you guess a word incorrectly, yet have the first word of a the word correct, that letter will remain in place. When you try again, if you get the first AND second letter correct, but have the incorrect word, the first 2 letters will stay in place. Letters will only remain visible in a left to right fashion… meaning, if you guess the second letter of the word correctly, but you haven’t revealed the first letter yet, the second letter won’t reveal itself. Did I make that as clear as mud? Good! 
A few help methods are available to guide you through each level too. The ‘Hints’ button at the bottom right allows you to reveal the next letter in a word. Be careful though, the number of hints per level is finite… So you won’t want to use up all of your hints too fast, too soon. Keep that in mind as you make your way through each level. Additionally, a ‘Help’ option found at the bottom right allows you to publish a help request to Facebook. All of your friends will see the request, and if any of them are smart enough, maybe you’ll get an answer!
