Are you tired of dropping your Apple iPhone 4 and watching it shatter into a million pieces (or something like that)? Well, an ingenious person has figured out how to make your iPhone drop-proof with just a little clay.

Over at Instructables, you can find full instructions on how to use sugru, a silicon modeling clay, to make your new Apple handset ready for your long nights at the bar. While it’s not the most attractive solution, it only costs about $10 for the materials, so you could do a lot worse.

As you can see from the video below, the solution makes the handset much harder to scratch and break and it only takes about a night to do. You can also remove the sugru without there being any permanent change to your handset.

So, readers, let us hear your do-it-yourself solution to your phone problems in the comments.
