Mobile games developer Glu Mobile has raised $13.5 million from 10 of its existing shareholders and 10 new investors in a private placement.

Among investors that participated in the round are certain members of Glu’s board of directors and/or their affiliates, including Greenway Capital, GGV Capital and New Enterprise Associates.

Glu’s CEO, Niccolo de Masi, is pleased with the support of company’s stockholders in this private placement. “The proceeds will significantly improve our capital structure as well as enable us to continue to execute on our new strategic plan of persistent, cross-platform mobile games,” he added.

In other words, expect more cool games from Glu Mobile in the near future. Likewise, I would expect them to expand to other platforms such as Windows Mobile 7, Bada and MeeGo and eventually reach more users.

And for the record, Glu Mobile’s popular games include [NABROJATI PAR IGARA].
