T-Mobile now offers 3000-minute family plans

T-Mobile added a new family plan with 3000 minutes that finds its place somewhere between the 1500-minute and unlimited minute family plans. When compared with the unlimited plan, first two lines cost the same – $99 per month. However, with the new plan, each successive line costs just $5, as opposed to $40 with an unlimited plan. Similar prices for additional lines apply to Even More for Family Talk & Text, and Even More for Family Talk, Text & Web plans.

Another difference between the 3000-minute and unlimited plan are the overage fees, which don’t exist for the unlimited plan – while 3000-minute plan customers will pay $0.45 per minute in a not-that-likely case they talk more than 3000 minutes per month.

More information about all T-Mobile’s family plans is available from this page on their website. While there, it’s easy to compare the complete carrier’s family offering and decide which plan best fits your needs best…
