Samurai: Way of the Warrior HD for iPad

Ready to hack and slash? I thought so. New from the brilliant developers at MADFINGER Games comes ‘Samurai: Way of the Warrior HD’… for iPad! That’s right, the award winning iPhone game has made its way to Apple’s big screen, with HD graphics and swipe controls in-tow.

It goes without saying here that the graphics are stunning, and the gameplay is very intuitive. If you can use your hands to set direction and swipe the screen to chop off some heads, you’re good to go. Have I sold you on the game yet? :P

There’s two game modes inside. The first sets you in the middle of the Japanese Sengoku period as Daisuke Shimada, a Samurai Warrior. It is up to you, as Daisuke, to jump, hack, slash and maneuver your way through each level. As you go, the levels get progressively harder, enemies become stronger, and the challenge becomes greater. It’s good fun. An alternate game mode puts you in the ‘Dojo’ where you can practice and sharpen your skills for use out in the ‘real world’. Make sure you practice up, because you’re going to need it!

Key features of Samurai: Way of the Warrior for iPad include:

  • New levels of action compared to the iPhone game
  • Players control all movement of the Samurai
  • Players initiate all offensive and defensive moves
  • Advanced Artificial Intelligence provides more realistic movement of characters
  • Hyper-realistic blood spatters from every wound
  • Graphic fatal injuries, including beheading and splitting in two
  • All original music, comics, graphics
  • Integrated competition play with AGON Online

Samurai: Way of the Warrior for iPad is available now in the App Store. Hit up the link below or visit MADFINGER Games for more information. All you need here is an iPad and just over 50 MB of free space.
