TELUS HTC Desire

If you’re biding your time, waiting patiently to get your hands on the TELUS HTC Desire, it’s been a good week for you. Just the other day, TELUS made it official and announced the device would be available on their network. While no launch date has been made available yet, we do have some pricing information to share with you.

The sleuths over at MobileSyrup took a peek around the source code on the Desire ‘coming soon’ page. The following price points were revealed: 1 year for $499.95, 2-year for $399.95 and 3-year for $299.95. Of course, there’s no way of knowing if these will be the prices at launch, but they should be in the ballpark.

Specs on the TELUS HTC Desire go a little something like this:

  • Android 2.1
  • 3.7″ 800×480 display
  • WiFi
  • GPS
  • 3G
  • 5 megapixel camera
  • 1GHz processor
  • Sense UI

Yes, this is a sweet feature set for sure… and if you’re a fan of Android, this is a device you’re going to want to keep on your radar. I’ll keep my ear to the ground for launch and pricing details as they become available. For more, you can check out the HTC Desire page at TELUS.
