This morning AT&T is expected to launch the BlackBerry 9800, RIM’s first slider, and the spearhead of their new operating system. Right on queue, the FCC has released the filing for the BlackBerry 9800, confirming Bluetooth, 802.11 b/g/n, and all the right bands for AT&T and world roaming.
From what we’ve seen in the extensive leaks leading up to today, the 9800 will have 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of on-board storage, a HVGA touchscreen, 5 megapixel camera, along with a portrait-sliding QWERTY keyboard, and an optical trackpad.
We have two of our boys at the New York event this morning, so rest assured that you’ll see some live pictures and video before the day is done.
