It’s not only the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 that’s coming to AT&T. Apparently, one other SE device will take the same route – Vivaz.

Unwired View’s Vlad Bobleanta caught a page on Sony Ericsson’s website talking about “AT&T’s version” of the device that comes with a slightly different 3G radio, singing on 1900MHz band (as used by AT&T). Unfortunately, the Swedish-Japanese handset maker removed that page and now we can’t access it.

As you probably know, the Sony Ericsson Vivaz is a Symbian S60 5th Edition all-touchscreen smartphone with features that include a 720 MHz CPU coupled with PowerVR SGX dedicated graphics chip, 3.2-inch nHD screen, HSPA and WiFi connectivity, 8-megapixel camera with flash and ability to record 720p video at 24 fps, 3.5mm headset jack, FM radio and 8GB of built-in storage.

I assume Sony Ericsson did all it takes to prepare the device for the U.S. launch, and I would assume AT&T will officially announce Vivaz in the near future…

I already have the Xperia running on AT&T, its bloody awesome! Only prb was that the 3.5mm jack requires a two ring input jack vs. the iPhone's 3 ring input requirement… meaning I had to go and buy a new set of headsets and leave my in ear Bose ;-( Other than that its a killer device. Their upgrading to Android 2.1 by end year too ;-)
