Nokia’s Ovi Store has been recently updated and (I guess) optimized to sing along the latest Symbian^3 smartphones such as the Nokia N8 and the newly announced E7, C6 and C7. As far as I’ve understood, the new mobile client will work on all S60 touchscreen phones, though I may be wrong (I have no one Nokia smartphone around me these days).
The first thing you’ll notice is revamped design which is now richer, more user-friendly and has that smooth grey color. Navigation has been beefed-up with icons for the store “Home”, “Categories,” “Search” and “Account”; while “Store menu” and “Back” buttons are now visible at all times.
Then there’s the in-store multi-tasking support, allowing you to download and install more than a single application at a time…
And that’s about it – it’s another small step in the right direction. Simply update your Ovi Store client/app to get the latest features (and design elements) as described above. 😉
