LG has officially announced the Town C300 candybar. The device we’ve first seen back in August comes with a full QWERTY keyboard and is touted to provide a seamless way for keeping up with your buddies while on the go. This is made possible thanks to the inclusion of dedicated Facebook, Twitter and MSN clients as well as support for push-email. Additionally, there’s a social networking widget that displays all of your friends’ activities in an easy to grasp manner.

In terms of hardware, the Town C300 sports a 2.4-inch display, 2-megapixel camera, FM radio, media player, Bluetooth connectivity support, 3.5mm headset jack and a microSD memory card slot. To put it in other words, we’re talking about an affordable texting phone that will surely sell like crazy.

Speaking of sales, LG’s latest baby is not yet available, but should hit portfolios of several British mobile operators in no time. Among the Town C300′s distributors we find such names as Orange, Tesco and Phones4U.
