SugarSync Allows File Sharing Between People

SugarSync has listened to the masses and announced today that it will allow file sharing and syncing between people. It’s a multi-user sync feature that allows folks to sync and share files amongst each other, rather than having to manually do it over multiple devices and platforms.

SugarSync also only counts the user folder’s storage, so if you’re viewing files that are not on your folder, it doesn’t count against your storage. With the new features, this is kinda how it works:

The new multi-user sync capability allows for folders shared among an assigned group to be immediately synced between all parties. As soon as shared files are updated by a user, each person will find the most up-to-date information on his/her computer.

You can grab the app free for your iPhone, iPad, Android handset or BlackBerry smartphone. For additional details, check out the press release on the next page.
